Lunares: Poems for the Moon
Edited by Ale de Luis, this atmospheric poetry anthology is first and foremost a love letter to the moon, highlighting the many ways our natural satellite acts as guide and muse for artists everywhere.
Featuring 29 poems with unique emotional resonances, this collection can be read in many different ways. Readers can dive in and read it in one sitting, or pick and choose based on the moon phase or mood they are currently in. It can also be read as a ‘poem-a-day’ collection lasting a full moon cycle, starting with the first poem on the night after the new moon, and ending with the final poem on the night of the following new moon.
Lunares features work by twenty of the best emerging and established poets in the Scottish literary scene, and addresses diverse themes including searching and reorientation, healing and exuberance, hoarding and death, and crucially, hope.
